Getting in touch

Contact

Questions are welcome, including disagreement. You do not need an account, and you are not signing up for anything by writing.

Write early rather than late. The first conversations are about people, not property, and nobody should be making decisions about a house or a job off the back of a website.

Put land project in the subject line so it does not get lost among the teaching mail.

What to say

Nothing formal is needed. What actually helps:

  • Roughly where you are. County or region is plenty. Nothing precise.
  • What you keep, and how long you have been keeping it.
  • What you can do with your hands, and what you would want to learn.
  • Whether your household could move, and roughly when.
  • What you would need to see before trusting a group of strangers with this.

That last one is the most useful question you can answer, and it is fair to ask it of us first.

Before any of this goes further, read how we find each other. It sets out the privacy rules we keep, including that nobody's address goes on a map and that first meetings happen in public.
