What we taught, and why we no longer teach it
Where we were corrected
Almost no ministry publishes what it got wrong. That is exactly why this page exists.
“Scripture alone, plain meaning first” is a claim every ministry makes. A public list of retired teachings is the only thing that demonstrates it. If the method really governs, then the method has to be able to overrule the teacher, and you have to be able to see that it has.
We are asking people to leave Christmas, Sunday, and the assembly they were raised in. That ask is only credible from someone who has abandoned his own positions when the text required it.

Things held open rather than settled
Being corrected is not only about what gets retired. It is also about refusing to call a thing settled before it is.

Claims that rest on inference, named in place
Three positions rest on inference rather than on a direct statement of the text. They are taught as the reading, not as a verse, and they are named wherever they are used:
- The singular antecedent in Revelation 5:14.
- The identification of the fig tree as Israel.
- Job 26:7 within the cosmology section, which is printed rather than omitted.
The correction process
This is a mechanism, not a posture.
If you can show us from the text that we are wrong, we will change it and publish the change. Bring it in writing with the passages. We will answer. If you are right, the teaching is corrected, the old one is marked retired with the date, and the correction appears on this page.
Turn to the Torah and to the covenant! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.
